Competition will be fierce on Saturday, December 10 when the 14th Annual MPS Drumline Competition crowns the City Champion at Rufus King International School. Spectators will be treated to stick tricks, precision drumming, and showmanship in this dazzling contest. The battle will include Rufus King International School, 2015 City Champion, and Riverside University High School, recent winner of the Fresh Coast Classic Mega Drumline Competition.
Nine high school drumlines and five middle school groups are scheduled to appear. Attendees are encouraged to cheer for their favorite teams from among MPS’ finest.

• Riverside University High School
• Rufus King International School Varsity
• Rufus King International School JV

Middle Schools represented at this year’s drumline competition are:

• Lincoln Center of the Arts
• Golda Meir School
• Milwaukee Parkside School for the Arts
• Wedgewood Park International School
Rufus King International School is located at 1801 W. Olive St. in Milwaukee. Tickets are $3 at the door. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and competition begins at 12:00 noon.
