A Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS)  world language teacher provides an instructional program for students which is appropriate to their educational needs and developmental level.  The educational program is offered in an equitable, multi-cultural setting and teaches all children to think deeply, critically and creatively.  The teacher's work supports the MPS strategic plan. 

Implements and delivers an applicable broad, balanced relevant and differentiated curriculum for students, and supports a designated curriculum area as appropriate.

Monitors and support the overall progress and development of students.

Facilitates and encourages a learning experience that provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

Contributes to raising standards of student attainment.

Share and supports the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.


Applicants must be licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to teach this specific grade level and / or content area - 1365 Spanish License, 355 French, 348 ASL, 370 German.
